Rebecca Linda Smith-Renewed receives important letter:

Rebecca Linda Smith-Renewed from El Paso, Texas received a very nice surprise in the mail recently. It was a letter from the U.S. Dept. of the Interior Park Service in reference to her music she sent to the Flight 93 National Memorial. Rebecca sent an MP3 of her song “We Will Remember,” written by Dr. Robert Frank Smith, and they responded that they would like to have a hard copy. She then sent them a press kit with the CD of the same song as well as the full CD entitled, American Heroes. The letter thanked Rebecca for sending the material and that it had been placed in the archives for the Flight 93 National Memorial where researchers, staff and the general public can have access to it. It then went on to say, “We appreciate your contribution and wish you the best of luck in the way that you have chosen to honor our American Heroes.” This is exactly what this CD is all about showing appreciation and honor to our American Heroes.

Rebecca Linda Smith was one of the Top 5 Nominees for Female Vocalist of the Year for Inspirational Country Music (ICM) Awards 2007.
