The Road To Recovery Texas Challenge came to Texas, started at B.A.M.C. in San Antonio and ended their Challenge at the Ball Park in Arlington, Texas where they got to throw out the First Pitch 4-4-09!. There were some 60 Wounded Warrior bicyclists participating in the 5 day ride. During a stop in Cleburne, Texas, President Bush made a visit!

President Bush then spoke to some of the American Legion Riders who provided Motorcycle escorts to these brave bicyclists.

Rebecca Linda Smith performing at her evening showcase on opening night of ICM Awards at Trinity Music City, Hendersonville, TN, on Oct 12, 2008. Rebecca Linda was a Top 5 Nominee for Female Vocalist of the Year for second year in a row. Here she is performing her sad and melancholy but uplifting Patriotic song, "Never Be Apart Anymore," written by her and her husband, Robert Frank Smith, and found on her American Heroes album. This song was inspired when God gave Robert Frank most of the words one night as he awoke singing the actual chorus. The next day, Robert Frank and Rebecca Linda sat down and penned the verses to the song.

Brett Hill, ICM Top 5 New Artist of the Year and Music Evangelist Nominee, visiting El Paso and the home of Renewed Records artist, Rebecca Linda Smith, and her songwriter husband, Robert Frank Smith, just prior to ICM Week, Oct 2008. Brett and Robert Frank are true "El Paso Rednecks" pictured under Robert Frank's trophy fish caught in New Mexico and Brett wearing a Tex-Mex hat he picked up crossing one of several international bridges. Renewed Records was privileged to accompany Brett during his dynamite performance and ministry at Calvary Temple of El Paso during this brief visit. Brett even baptized one of the attendees in a pool across the street following his annointed ministry and performance of many songs he wrote from his newest album, THE TRUTH OF IT ALL. While here, Brett, Robert Frank, and Rebecca Linda also visited the historic Rosa's Cantina of Marty Robbins fame.
